Papers Published in the Computational Linguistics (CL) journal can now also be presented at AAAI (note October 31st deadline)

2025-10-02

The AAAI 2026 Journal Track chairs have confirmed that these presentations will be oral, 20–25 minutes long, and held in a dedicated room throughout the conference. We believe this could be an excellent opportunity to enhance the visibility of your work within the broader AI community. The deadline for AAAI ’26 is October 31st

  • The journal track is designed to provide a forum to present diverse and important results from across the subdisciplines of Artificial Intelligence that have been published recently (from January 1st, 2024 to October 31st, 2025) in selective journals, but have not been previously presented at AAAI or at any other major AI conference (such as IJCAI or ECAI) or sister conference (such as ML, NeurIPS, AAMAS, CP, KR or ICAPS).

Please note that a presentation at AAAI is independent of a presentation at an *ACL conference. In other words, presenting at one does not disqualify you from presenting at the other, as long as it meets the respective eligibility criteria. However, if you intend to present at only one venue, we encourage you to consider prioritizing an *ACL conference.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please refer to the AAAI Journal Track submission page linked above for more details.
